Fairy Fencer F Limited Edition Unboxing

For those lucky enough to grab a copy of Fairy Fencer F’s limited edition from NIS America’s web shop, take heart: those limited editions were truly few in supply as they sold out long before the game was set to be released.

If you didn’t get your hands on one of these packages, you might want to reconsider pulling the trigger next time. Like most JRPG limited editions, Fairy Fencer F’s box set comes with all the usual goodies without the questionable boobs mousepad that usually makes it into a Compile Heart game. But let’s dig into this box and see what’s inside!

Gorgeous box art for the front cover, let’s rip it ope-wait…what’s that under the box?

"How's it sit? Pretty cunning, don't you think?"

It’s an adorable Pippin beanie! “A man walks down the street in that hat, people know he’s not afraid of anything.”

The reverse of the box. I wonder if it hurt when she fell from heaven...and got stabbed with an enormous sword.

Equipped with the hat, let’s get into this box already. First up is what gamers will receive when they get their physical copy of the game.

Even on its own, this is a purty case.

And of course, the standard hard cover art book. Not many words in this one, but tons of character designs and some neat character bios.

And the art within is indeed excellent, featuring excellent character designs and landscapes.

Fairy Fencer F’s music is excellent except for one song, so a selection of 18 from the game’s score is a great inclusion. Plus, that terrible song isn’t included!

The insert art is also pretty wicked.

All in all, this was a pretty solid limited edition. Soundtracks and artbooks are standard, but the quality with these is top-notch. Plus, the adorable lil’ hat is too perfect to not wear. This is a package that belongs on any fan’s shelf.
