SEGA and Creative Assembly have finally shed some light on Alien Isolation‘s Season Pass and the game’s terrifying and quite challenging, Survivor Mode.
In Survivor Mode, player’s survival skills are tested as they’re forced to complete difficult objectives and survive the enemies of Alien: Isolation. Certain objectives may force players to finish a level and escape the alien all within the time limit. Depending on how well you do, your survival time will be sent to the global leaderboards, allowing players and friends to compete and compare their skills with one another.
On October 28, the first Survivor Mode map pack will be available to players. Those players who purchase Alien: Isolation on October 7 will have access to Basement, the first Survivor Mode map.
The Season Pass will contain five map packs for Survivor Mode, each map pack containing three new maps with different objectives and enemies. Although no official price has been announced, purchasing the Season Pass will give players access to each of the Survivor Mode map packs for a 25% discount.
Alien: Isolation will be available on October 7 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.
