Sledgehammer Games is likely working at a breakneck pace to put the finishing touches on its first original Call of Duty title, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Today, the developer tasked with adapting the ambitious first person shooter to the last generation PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 was revealed.
Speaking with GameInformer, the founders of Sledgehammer Games, Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, revealed that High Moon Studios would be bringing the new Call of Duty to last gen consoles. The developer is best known for its line of Transformers titles such as Transformers: War for Cybertron and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, both of which were critically acclaimed. Their most recent release was Deadpool, a game revolving around the titular Marvel psychopathic antihero, which was largely panned critically.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is due for release on November 4th, 2014.
