Today Sony announced software update 2.0 and it was the big one. First, it allows for gamers to now share their videos to YouTube using just their PlayStation 4 console. This was something that has been requested for some time and it’s nice to finally see it make it’s way in. But the biggest surprise of all was Share Play.
Back at the PlayStation 4 reveal it was mentioned that you would be able to remotely share your controller with another gamer anywhere in the world. Share Play is that and more. Not only can you share your controller virtually, but it requires no downloads or disks from the other player. Furthermore, you can play multiplayer games with any other PlayStation Plus members. That means you can play couch co-op games without even being on the same couch.
PlayStation 4’s software update will be available this fall.
