In today’s daily screenshot post of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS, series creator Masahiro Sakurai unveiled the power-up customization menu set to appear in the Smash Run mode exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS version of the game. Now, if there’s anything I absolutely love in a game, it’s customization. I’m all about it. Too about it. Fortunately, it looks like Super Smash Bros. 4 will have no shortage of customization options, at least in Smash Run.
Sakurai goes on the reveal that you may bundle yourself with any set of power-ups for you to use throughout the Smash Run world. Naturally, some weigh more than others, so you must organize accordingly, depending on your own unique play style and where you prioritize your methods of destruction.
If you’re feeling indecisive, pressing the X button will automatically fill your power-up inventory with a generated loadout, which you can change as many times as you like until you find the one.
We’ll be sure to be updating you with any and all information on Super Smash Bros. on the way to its release dates, October 3rd for 3DS and this holiday season for Wii U.
