Freshly formed indie studio Touchfight Games today announced their first game, Go to Bed, which will be released for iOS devices. One of Touchfight’s co-founders is Nathan Meunier, a well known freelance video game writer who has written multiple books on how to break into the video game journalism industry. He is joined by Leonard Kenyon and Jon Kenyon in forming a team that is currently planning on releasing games for PC, Mac, iOS, and potentially other platforms.
Go to Bed is described as a “bedroom defense” game that will put a creepy spin on children’s storybooks. Details are still scarce but according to the developers, players will have to “Tap, swipe, and prod the dark shadowy creatures that encroach upon your dimply lit bedroom in increasing numbers…if you want to survive the night.”
Go to Bed is shooting for a release sometime before Halloween, but Touchfight has yet to commit to a firm release date. The official page hints that players will be able to go hands on with the game “in the near future”. In the meantime, be sure to check out the teaser trailer above to get a taste of what to expect.
