Assassin's Creed Rogue Coming to Last-Gen This Fall

According to a leaked trailer, Assassin’s Creed Rogue will be launching on Xbox 360 and PS3 this fall.

A gallery of leaked images obtained by Access the Animus shows what seem to be screen captures from a leaked trailer. The long-rumored Assassin’s Creed Comet was Ubisoft’s answer for franchise fans who had not made the transition to the next generation of consoles.

Rogue will feature the unique naval gameplay that gained popularity in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The leaked images show the protagonist offing a hooded figure, seeming to confirm that the game will be framed from a Templar’s point of view. Set in the Arctic and Atlantic, Rogue is rumoured to follow the events of Black Flag featuring returning characters such as Adewale and Haytham Kenway.

Ubisoft responded to the story with the standard “We do not comment on rumors or speculation.” It seems that we will learn more about the game next week at Gamescom.

The next-gen installment of the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Unity, releases on October 28th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The above rumored Assassin’s Creed Rogue will allegedly release on November 11th for Xbox 360 and PS3.
