The beloved franchise starring the eponymous man in the blue suit is out on iOS right now. Specifically, Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies is out now on the numerous iOS devices. While this isn’t news to fans of the series who have been following promises of this installment coming to iOS devices, it is news that players will be able to play the first case of the game for the total sum of free. Players will have the chance to play through the first case of Dual Destinies without reaching into their wallets for a single dime, but after that case players will need to fork over $4.99 for each case or $14.99 for the entire package.
This system of free-to-play should sound familiar as it is something that Blizzard did recently with their Curse of Naxxramas DLC for their extremely popular and addictive card game, Hearthstone. It seems like an interesting move on the part of Capcom, as it marks yet another game that realizes what can be done when a game allows players to experience a little bit with the hopes that it will drive them to pay the price for the full experience. If 15 bucks is too high a price right out of the gate, but you find yourself interested in trying out Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, you can go ahead and play the first case in the game for free on iOS right now.
