Square Enix, boss of all things Final Fantasy and undisputed champion of overly complex game names, has kicked off a new promotional campaign for their upcoming 3DS music game, Theatrythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. The Legacy of Music Campaign will be a series of trailers that show off some of the wonderful musical tracks from the long history of Final Fantasy games that will be included in the latest Theatrythm game. The campaign starts off with the first three main numbered games, Final Fantasy I through III.
Unlike its predecessor which only included main numbered games, Theatrythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will feature music from spin-offs such as Final Fantasy: Tactics as well. The track list is expected to be much longer (including over 200 songs) and the game will be a hub for planned DLC tracks going forward.
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is due out in the U.S. on September 16th, and in Europe on September 19th.
