[Make It So takes a look at our favorite games and suggests additions, subtractions, and areas to improve upon for the sequel or next entry in the series.]
You might have heard about inExile since they have been getting a lot of attention due to their upcoming project, Wasteland 2, which is already showing a lot of promise. However, they are working on another crowdsourced game that is making all classic RPG fans anxious: Torment: Tides of Numenera. This thematic follow up for the beloved Planescape: Torment is set to revive our good old isometric role playing games era mixed with modern day improvements.
As a fan, I am very eager to see if this title is as great as it sounds, taking into account how awesome the first game was. Chances are good, since inExile’s CEO, Brian Fargo, has quite a background as producer of classic series such as Bard´s Tale, Wasteland, and Fallout, and was also the founder of Interplay, the company that brought us Baldur’s Gate and the aforementioned Planescape: Torment.
