The Evil Within Shifts Release Dates Again

Survival Horror throwback The Evil Within was originally slated for an August release, then was pushed back to October 21st. Well I guess it didn’t enjoy that too much as the game will now be pushed forward to an October 14th release instead.

The date change was announced at QuakeCon 2014. The Evil Within seems to be trying to find a safer release date in an already crowded October. Dragon Age: Inquisition, Battlefield Hardline, Evolve, and Assassin’s Creed: Unity are all sharing the same release month and my wallet is officially requesting the month off. Seriously though it is a brutal month for releases and with the previews for the game saying that it “isn’t really that scary.”
