Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Will Get DLC Music From Future Games

Fun fact: I can never spell rhythm correctly the first go around (That damn “h” sneaks in again at the end). So imagine the awful time I have trying to make sure I spell “Theatrhythm” correctly.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is a sequel to the first Theatrhythm game on the Nintendo 3DS (We previewed the newest game at E3 last week). A rhythm music game based around the songs of the Final Fantasy series, the games have been a welcome surprise for their entertaining gameplay and, well, basically because the music of Final Fantasy is so kickass.

In a conversation with Polygon, series producer Ichiro Hazama added:

“In terms of Final Fantasy songs, we will continue to produce new Final Fantasy titles and with that, there’ll be new songs added to the repertoire.”

I can only assume that with the campaign for Final Fantasy XV expected to gear up later this year, the music for the game is still held under lock and key. Still, it will probably end up on Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call at some point.
