With Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix slated for release later this year, it seems fair that fans ought to start begin thinking about whether or not the remaster is worth the purchase. After all, the games included in the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix are newer (and thus look better) than the ones in the original Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix. After taking a look at some screenshots from the original Kingdom Hearts 2 about eight years ago, I’m glad to say that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix seems to be more than worth the purchase, boasting graphical improvements that are certainly noticeable. Of course, this isn’t even taking into consideration that many fans will now have access to Birth By Sleep and Re: Coded.
Take a look at some of the comparisons below. Of course, these are just initial impressions, and only the official release later this year will actually tell how significant the graphical improvements truly are. For the time being, however, KH2.5 certainly looks much more sharp and crisp.
