Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! has received a new gameplay (and dance?) trailer released by 2k Australia. The trailer shows off some gameplay, skill trees, and also includes a special moon dance segment brought to us by Harmonix. Oh and of course, plenty of Claptrap and wub wub.
As the name implies, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! is both a sequel to the first Borderlands and a prequel to the second game, Borderlands 2. Players will have a choice of four playable characters and will start the game off as henchmen working for Borderlands 2 antagonist Handsome Jack, as he tries to escape exile on a Hyperion moonbase. All four of the playable characters have made an appearance at some point or another during the series, which makes for a nice little easter egg for series veterans.
Currently Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! is only slated for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. As of now there doesn’t seem to be any plans for a release on either the Playstation 4 or Xbox One. All the same, you can expect to play Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on October 17th, 2014.
