Microsoft opened their E3 presser with the news that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be getting all DLC content for the next-gen title first, before any other platform.
The trailer they showed emphasized a highly cinematic presentation and the brand new engine, with some truly incredible lighting effects and animation on the characters. Multiple new gameplay mechanics appeared, including a booster pack for long falls and clearing gaps and jumps, and a movable drone shield that can be fired through. The gameplay itself has a much more vertical feel than previous Call of Duty games, with enemies taking advantage of their own boosters to climb around obstacles.
The DLC will be coming first to Xbox One this fall.
