Shortly after Sony’s E3 2014 conference yesterday, where Grand Theft Auto V was confirmed for the PS4, a trailer revealed it is also coming to Xbox One and PC. The game’s upgrade to the new console generation comes with “increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions”, according to Rockstar. The game will also feature new wildlife, and upgraded weather and damage effects.
On the online side, all three versions will come with all the content created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, plus new jobs, weapons and vehicles. In addition, PC players will be able to use a feature editor “designed for advanced movie-making.” Machinima fans in particular will like that last one. The game will be released this Fall.
If you bought GTA V last year, are you going to double dip? Or if you waited, are you getting it now?
