If you’ll recall, Nintendo finally listened to the pleas of its fans regarding the glory that was the Nintendo Gamecube controller for playing Super Smash Bros. Because of the voices of fans, Nintendo decided to release a Gamecube controller and adapter so that players may continue to use the Gamecube controller for Super Smash Bros. even in the upcoming Wii U version. Today, Nintendo has revealed the different pricing options for these items.
First off, the adapter itself to be able to connect a Gamecube controller to a Wii U will cost fans $19.99. Each adapter will support up to four Gamecube controllers (including Wavebirds!).
Next, Nintendo will also be selling Gamecube controllers branded with the logo for Super Smash Bros. Each of these controllers will cost $29.99.
Lastly, Nintendo will also be selling a bundle that includes the adapter, a controller, and a copy of the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. for $99.99. Buying all three would normally cost $110, but with the bundle, fans can save $10 on the entire set. If you know you’re going to want both Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and a Gamecube controller to go with it, the bundle is most certainly worth it.
