Dragon Age: Inquisition Get New Screenshots Detailing Western Approach

Earlier today, Bioware releassed a slew of screenshots from the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition. The screens detail the Western Approach which contains the Grey Wardens’ fortress, Adamant. On the game’s offical site, Bioware explained the importance of the fortress in the form of a journal entry.

Of all the decisions we Grey Wardens were forced to make over the lean years, withdrawing from the fortress of Adamant was perhaps the most difficult…The entire Western Approach had become a wasteland, and thus the expense of maintaining the fortress became harder and harder to justify…Each visit of the Warden-Commander made it more and more apparent that Adamant had instead become a symbol of our decline. Many said that, even if darkspawn did still emerge from the chasm, who would they threaten other than the Grey Wardens themselves?

The wait between now and October is getting more and more unbearable.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is scheduled to release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on October 7.
