This last week had a lot to offer: Mother’s Day, finals week for some, and (a favorite of college students around here) Cinco de Mayo. Game Devs on the other hand had another week of making and advertising the games they pour their souls into.
Toronto’s Bit Bazaar, a one-day event dedicated to the art and craft of games, was held this last week and saw some familiar indie developers in attendance. Those in attendance included Actual Sunlight developer Will O’Neill (@willoneill), who showed off his new project and the warning he’s put onto it.
#ScreenshotSaturday is quickly becoming one of my favorite days of the week. If you’re at all interested in indie games, it’s definitely worth checking out the hashtag every Saturday. This week Christer Kaitila (@McFunkypants) showed off the progress in his tactics project:
New #gamedev methodology I'm trying: instead of many milestones for one big project, I'm making 4 similar small games of increasing quality.

Another indie dev, Threes‘ Asher Vollmer (@AsherVo), shares his thoughts on the game making process, but with different motivations.
On the less productive side of twitter, Jonathan Blow (@Jonathan_Blow) is struggling with his iPhone, like the rest of us.
P.S. My iPhone just auto-"corrected" well to we'll and then back to well a quarter of a second later. This mess is out of control.

….And DoubleFine’s Tim Schafer (@TimOfLegend) counts down until the end of Mother’s Day. Just another day in the life.
Oh man, I'm so excited! Just two more hours until I can go back to being mean to moms again!

#DeveloperTweets is @Twinfinite‘s weekly roundup of tweets from game developers on Twitter, dedicated to giving readers a mix of the issues and the entertainment they may have missed on their Twitter feeds. #DeveloperTweets is published every Monday and is supervised by Alissa (@Gliitchy) who spends way too much time on Twitter anyway.
