PlayStation 4 Software Update Bringing Requested Features

According to a post on the PlayStation Blog today, the software update coming to the PlayStation 4 sometime in the coming weeks will be implementing features that the players have demanded over the past few months.

Some of the features that are being added with the update include an easy-to-use video editor that allows you to personalize your clips on the fly and export them to a USB drive by clicking the “Share” button on your controller. In addition, the update will add an HDCP off option for HDMI recording which will allow players to share and capture longer clips.

Sony is also saying that as part of future updates, the ability to archive Twitch stream content is in the works along with an upgrade to 720p for the streams themselves. In any case, there should be more information coming for this update in the next couple of days, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
