The Witcher's Maciej Szcześnik and Marek Ziemak Join 11 bit studios

11 bit studios (Anomaly Warzone Earth and Anomaly 2) have hired the talents of The Witcher’s lead gameplay designer, Maciej Szcześnik, and gameplay producer, Marek Ziemak. Szcześnik will be the lead designer of a new game that 11 bit is working on and is excited to be able to “create a new world from scratch, make its characters and rules and to know that I have this blank page to fill with my ideas and then bring them to life.” Meanwhile, Ziemak’s role has yet to be announced but there’s promise that it will be soon along with the projects 11 bit studios has been working on.

While The Witcher 3 will be the end of Geralt’s story, it’s been said to not be the end for The Witcher franchise. I suppose everyone needs a break from creating the same worlds over and over again for years, though. With how excited they are to start their new positions, more power to them! Here’s looking forward to what 11 bit studios has in store.
