The Xbox One is getting it’s post-launch first system update.
The two big issues the update addresses involves their SmartGlass and multiplayer connectivity issues. Users can update their Xbox One today after 5 pm PT. The update will be required for all Xbox One’s connecting to Xbox Live at 2 am PT on Thursday December 12, 2013.
Microsoft’s planning on rolling out more updates for 2014 addressing more issues that users are encountering. You can see the entire list of changes in the update on Major Nelson’s blog here.
The biggest update I’m hoping to see is Xbox One controller support for PC that’s supposed to arrive sometime in 2014. But that’s just me. What significant problems are you facing on your Xbox One? Let us know if the comments below.
