Rosalina and Luma Bring Cosmic Carnage to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS

What better way to get your ass kicked than by the power of the cosmos? Not long after the announcement of a Super Mario Galaxy stage for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS, it was revealed today that Rosalina would be joining the tussle, accompanied by the painfully adorable Luma. She seems to fight a little similarly to the Ice Climbers in the way that Luma will also be attack separately, allowing for some very creative combos.

I’ll be honest, the trailer they showed confused the hell out of me, at first. At first, it seems like a new Kirby Air Ride, but then it seems like Mario Kart 8, and then suddenly Rosalina shows up like “That’s right, bitch,” and then you see it’s Super Smash Bros. It was definitely a nice surprise, and I’m glad she will have a very unique fighting style. One thing I’m hoping for is a roster full of variety, contrary to Super Smash Bros. Brawl where characters like Fox, Falco, and Wolf all shared the same moveset and abilities with minor differences. So far, so good though. We’ll continue updating you as the roster of fighters grows over the months until Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS finally makes its debut sometime in 2014.
