Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Screens Released and They’re Beautiful

Okay, ‘beautiful’ may be my Digimon bias speaking. There are three things in the world I love despite their flaws: Digimon, Pizza, and my Vita. Two of those amazing things are coming together in the upcoming vita game Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, which received a couple new screenshots a few days back. And holy jeeze, they look pretty, especially for a Vita game.

Only two screens were released. The first of which shows our red haired protagonist running through a corrador followed by Agumon, Terriermon, and Angelwomon. The second shows the same cast facing off against a large mecha digimon. The official site features these images, along with some built in gifs and a teaser trailer.

The game isn’t confirmed for the US (yet?) and has a estimated launch of 2015 in Japan. Even if we were to see it over here, it’d be quite a while. Digimon World 1  is one of my absolute favorite games of all time, so I’m getting pretty excited over the possibility of this. After missing out on Digimon World 1‘s spiritual successor Digimon World Re: Digitize Decode, I feel like the US is owed another awesome Digimon game.
