Today’s Nintendo Direct revealed that the ever-so-popular YouTube is headed to the 3DS in the form of an app.
The YouTube app on the 3DS will allow you to browse on the bottom screen while a video plays on the top screen (finally, right?). The actual app will require a strong internet connection in order to use. This type of multi-screen functionality should be hitting the Wii U app as well in a future update by allowing you to browse on the gamepad and watch videos on the television simultaneously.
Both the Wii U app update and the YouTube app on the 3DS should be hitting their respective eShops next month.
