With Minecraft already on a multitude of systems, it’s easy to forget that some of the bigger consoles are still missing out on the blocky sandbox action. A tweet pushed out by Minecraft Xbox 360 developer 4J Studios confirmed that the PS3 edition of the popular indie game is being prepared for testing as we speak. Other platforms, such as the PS4 and Vita, will come after the PS3 release.
This inevitably means that the PS4 version of Minecraft won’t launch on November 15 with the console, as previously promised by the company. This is the most recent in a growing line of dropped launch titles. Hopefully the four or five other incarnations of Minecraft will be enough to tie us over until the PS3 and PS4 editions release eventually.
