Sony is putting together an “Ultimate Bundle” just in time for the holidays. The bundle includes the new PlayStation 4 and Vita for around $500 (~ £325). The bundle is set to release sometime in early December.
No word on if the Vita included in the bundle will be the new Japan only PCH-2000 series model or the current Vita outside of Japan. Regardless, I can see this bundle swaying those who have yet to purchase a next generation console and are willing to drop $499.99 for one, the MSRP for an Xbox One. With Remote Play and Second Screen capabilities, this could also dig into Wii U sales but for almost double the price for a Wii U which is currently at $299.99. The Wii U will also most likely drop price or come bundled with a game for holiday shoppers so there’s that to consider. If you haven’t already, check out Twinfinite’s Holiday Guide to help you decide which console’s for you.
Twinfinite will keep this page updated if more news comes about this bundle releasing in other territories.
