This week’s Jump magazine in Japan has announced a new Naruto game for the current-gen, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution.
The news comes just weeks after CyberConnect2 released Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst. Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will include 100 playable characters as well as new additions to the roster drawn by creator Masashi Kishimoto himself. A playable demo and more details to come at next month’s Jump Festa 2014.
It appears the game will include Naruto teaming up with Sasuke against Tobi in the Fourth Shinobi World War. While the game may conclude the war entirely, it feels eerily similar to Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations in terms of being an in-between release before Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 releases, possibly for next-gen consoles.
Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is set to release in 2014 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
