3 Turn Productions has taken to Kickstarter for an ambitious title, Ever, Jane, an MMO focused on the Regency Period of England most familiar as the setting of Jane Austen’s novels. Taking role-playing to a new direction, the game uses ballroom dancing, gossip, and story-driven quests in lieu of the more familiar combat or item-collection.
I’m not entirely sure what to make of such a project, but I think the ambition is admirable and I’m definitely interested to see what comes of it should the goal be met and the game released to the public. To read more or donate to the cause, you can visit the Kickstarter page.
