World 1-1: A Video Game History Documentary

Concept Lounge Creations (website) has taken to Kickstarter to fund World 1-1, the first in a proposed series of documentaries looking at the history of video games. Focusing on the Atari and the birth of modern gaming, World 1-1 has lined up some pretty great interviews, including Atari founder Nolan Bushnell, Centipede creator Dona Bailey, and Atari 2600 Donkey Kong programmer Garry Kitchen.

It looks like a pretty cool idea, and a great way to teach today’s gamers about the history and origin of some of the greats, as well as letting those of us who’ve been interested in the industry for longer bask in the warm, nostalgic glow of days gone by.
