That is not a typo in the title; Chillingo Ltd has released the next entry in the Anomaly series, which is actually a Tower Offense game. The campaign is what fans would expect, which sounds like more of the same, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But the new hook for Anomaly 2 is the asymmetrical multiplayer, which puts one attacker and one defender against one another. This was released earlier this year on PC, check out Mike’s review! He liked it quite a bit, but now it’s $10 cheaper and fits right in your pocket.
Check out Anomaly 2 in the App Store here. If you’re on an older device, you may want to hold off, as the high graphical quality of the game requires an iPhone 5 or later to run properly.
