Hinterland Studios announced that their post-disaster first-persons survival sim The Long Dark has hit it’s $200,000 goal on Kickstarter. Set in the northern wilderness, The Long Dark promises a difficult survival situation in already-harsh conditions, made harsher by global disaster.
The art in this one looks interesting, and I’m definitely intrigued to see how it goes once it’s released. This has some pretty cool potential for those interested in survival games, and the unique look and feel to it could really help it stand out against the competition. There’s still some stretch goals to be met with just a couple of days left to fund, so if you’d like to get a look at those or the funding perks still available, go check them out here.
