While it didn’t make it onto my top 5 list last year, Dishonored was a game I had a lot of fun with. Developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda, this game combined stealth, action, steampunk, and open world gameplay along with an aesthetic that merged the beautiful/creepy look of Bioshock with the oppressive city design of Half-Life 2. In layman’s terms, it was a pretty kick-ass game and as of today it’s even more so as Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition is now available.
Included in the GOTY package alongside the full game are the four DLC add-ons: The Knife of Dunwall, Dunwall City Trials, The Brigmore Witches, and Void Walker’s Arsenal. It is available today in North America and on October 11th in Europe, and it is priced at $39.99 for XBox 360, PS3, and PC.
In light of this news, I’m reinstalling Dishonored right now because as it turns out my time in Dunwall isn’t … done, y’all.
