In a recent sit down with Bungie’s Head of Art Dave Dunn, IGN pulled queries from their community asking the developer about their latest IP, Destiny.
Questions ranged from classes in Destiny, their in-game currency system, and exploration. There was also a question regarding the competitive multiplayer, specifically whether drive-able vehicles would make their way into the playlist.
“All of us at Bungie love player driven vehicles, as you can see from the two we had revealed so far, the Sparrow and the Fallen Pike. Will they make their way into competitive multiplayer… you’ll just have to wait and find out.”
So far, Bungie has only showed very little of the competitive multiplayer in Destiny. I’m definitely looking forward to Bungie’s next venture, especially the competitive multiplayer aspect. As a big fan of the Halo series, I personally can’t wait to see what Bungie has in-store for competitive multiplayer in Destiny.

With the beta dropping in early 2014, expect to see more from Destiny in the coming months.
