Still rocking your default Xbox 360 headset? Or maybe you’ve got a TurtleBeach XP9000 or something that you’re crazy attached to. Until recently, we were led to believe our beloved headsets would die with the end of this console generation. Taking to Twitter earlier today, Xbox One lead planner Alberto Penello announced that we will be able to bring our current-gen gaming headsets into the next gaming generation. Microsoft has plans to offer an adapter which will bridge the gap between 360 and One. The planned adapter will be, as Penello says, “an accessory” which is Microsoft speak for “you’ll have to pay extra for it”.
