First it was Capcom locking DLC behind Marvel vs Capcom 3. Then Sega with Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown. Both moves were received with some heated debate as to their worth. Finally Tekken has shown up on the field to try something truly revolutionary. They are going to go free to play on June 11th with Tekken Revolution.
This newest iteration will be a PS3 exclusive. Why you ask? “Ask Microsoft yourself. I already asked them about free to play of the console last year” tweeted the always entertaining Katsuhiro Harada. Well whatever the reason Microsoft passed on this game, Sony has acquire another exclusive Tekken game. With an upgrade system that works by leveling power, endurance and vigor, it will be interesting to see how this game really balances out in the fighting game world.
