Metro: Last Light PC Specs Revealed

Metro Last LightIt’s been a bit of a long road for Metro: Last Light with it being delayed and also finding itself as one of the properties bandied about in the THQ rubble back at the beginning of the year. After getting picked up by publisher Deep Silver, it is finally ready for release on May 14, 2013.

Not only is this series a fantastic adventure set in (and mostly under) post-nuclear Moscow, but it’s based on an excellent series of books by Dmitry Glukhovsky – who incidentally is also the writer for this game. Why not see (shameless day-job plug in 3, 2, 1) if your library has a copy.

It’s predecessor, Metro: 2033, was notable for being a stunning visual and atmospheric achievement (not to mention a notorious system hog) on PC so naturally fans have been waiting with bated breath to see what kind of specs this new title will have.

Looking at what the game needs to run, the minimum specs are actually pretty reasonable. If you want to play it on its highest settings (and if you’re a PC gamer of course you do), the ticket to entry is pretty high.
