Soon, you’ll be able to log into the PSN Store and buy a digital copy of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for just US$9.99. How soon? Tuesday, January 29th soon if you happen to live in North America. For Europe, it’ll be available Wednesday, January 30th for €9.99 or £7.99. Rockstar announces this game will be a part of the PS2 Classics Collection, which is pretty apt. After all, the game does kind of take place in my hometown in the 80’s, and it was one of the biggest titles I can think of when I consider PS2 games. There’ll always be a soft spot in my heart for Vice City.
In more PSN news, Bayonetta is also slated for release as digital download as announced by SEGA. You can expect that to hit next week’s Tuesday (also January 29th) for US$19.99 and Wednesday for Europe (£11.99/€14.99/AU$23.95). I haven’t played the game myself, and a few of our own writers give it a heavy “meh,” but even so I’ll admit I’m pretty tempted.
