Today at 11 AM PDT (2 PM EST) Paradox Interactive will be hosting a live stream for their game War of the Roses. Join Paradox Interactive’s CEO Fred Wester along with War of the Roses’ Senior Producer Gordon van Dyke and Lead Programmer Robin Hagblom as they stream the game and discuss the conflict behind the game’s two warring factions: Lancasters and Yorks. They will be answering questions from the community through chat and will be joining random public servers to showcase some of the bloody and chaotic gameplay.
The game will be streamed on Paradox Interactive’s official Twitch.tv channel: http://www.twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive
For those unfamiliar with War of the Roses, it is a team-based 3rd person multiplayer experience that is set in 15th century England. The game features highly customizable knights with over 30 authentic medieval weapons. You can level your knight up to unlock new weapons, armor and skills and you can duke it out medieval style in massive 64-player deathmatches. This is a game I’ve been wanting to try for a while now. Those interested in pre-ordering will automatically be upgraded to the digital collector’s edition which comes with beta access, early access to the final product and special armor only available through the collector’s edition. More game information, as well as pre-order info can be found here on the official site.
The game is still under NDA so this live stream will be a rare glimpse of gameplay for those not in the beta. If you have any interest in this game at all, definitely don’t miss this!
