Many PC gamers out there have felt let down by the recent releases Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition and Darksiders II due to their lack of graphics options that meet PC standards. The PC version of Borderlands 2, however, reverses this trend by actually offering the fully customizable experience that PC gamers expect and hold dear. As revealed in a Gamespy article, the menu screen for Borderlands 2 has a host of options not found in most titles not centric to the PC, such as adjustable field of view, view distance, unlimited framerate.
Kudos to Gearbox for giving the PC some love. Borderlands 2 is currently available on Steam for pre-order, and releases Sept 18.
