E3 2012 has been big for Capcom and Resident Evil 6 in particular, with a surprising amount of content being rolled out during the event both through trailers and hands-on availability for those at the show. The videos themselves are a little scattered, so here is a general collection of what’s been put up.
All three characters and their accompanying changes in gameplay are present, so a quick dip into each is definitely worth it. Chris’ gameplay is very like RE5, Leon’s is similar to RE4, and Capcom seems to be pushing the idea that Jake’s gameplay is in the same vein as RE3, due to the character being chased by a big scary monster.
I remember RE3’s triumphs also being in fields beyond Nemesis jumping out and his (eventually annoying) music cutting in, but if that’s what they think is enough to replicate the RE3 experience, more power to them.
