Namco Bandai announced today that the next game in the Tekken Tag Tournament series would come bundled with a few extra characters at launch. If the names “Kunimitsu” and “Ancient Ogre” mean anything to you, hit the jump for more details.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has been eagerly anticipated for quite a while now, and the team behind it is more than aware. For people who pick up a copy at launch, you will be granted with a couple of characters to compliment the already insane roster of fighters. Like with most DLC now, you have a few options. You could:
- Pre-order from Amazon and receive Michelle Chang & Angel, or
- Pre-order from Gamestop and get ahold of Kunimitsu and Ancient Ogre in addition to Michelle and Angel
That’s right, you read correctly. This oddity might even out eventually, but more than likely in terms of paid DLC. TTT2 is already coming equipped with the largest roster of characters in any Tekken game ever made, so that dream team of Bob and Dr. Boskonovitch could very well be a reality. With the addition of two new modes, including Pair Mode, where up to four people can go online in team battles, something that I have been wanting to do for years.
Tekken Tag 2 hit shelves mid-September, so place your pre-orders today!
