Here is an intriguing thought. Create a marketplace where gamers can get DRM free versions of indie games with 100% of the proceeds going to the developers. Gamers can then redownload the titles at any time on any computer. Now, for the kicker: they’re dirt cheap.
That’s right. In an attempt to branch in to a new market on the PC, developers from all over the web have banded together and created a great new website called Indievania and right now they are having a sale. You can see the full list below:
Titles running $1.00
- Cthulu Saves the World and Breath of Death VII Double Pack
- Metal Dead
- Wizorb
- Climb to the Top of the Castle
- Defy Gravity Extend
- Dragons vs Spaceships
- Cardinal Quest
- Infinity Danger, Zombie Carnage Football and Motor Heat Triple Pack
- Blocks that Matter
Titles running $1.40 – $2.00
- Beep
- Inside a Star-Filled Sky
- Swift Switch
At these prices, I am finding it hard to recommend many of these titles at this price. Swift Switch just came out 2 months ago, so to see it at $1.40 is pretty crazy. Make sure to swing by Indievania and check out the over 200 titles available.
